Well that's because science is sacred. [ it's more important than any paltry religion. And it's also the most engaged he's been since his arrival. He's fully parked up, something bright in his eyes. Science is his favorite thing for always and forever. ]
As long as it was amicable, I suppose that's not the worst thing. Two of my best mates can't decide if they want to be married or not. Always kind of a minefield to catch up with them if I haven't seen them in a while.
Are you able to work on any projects in this place? [He doesn't think that Jane would be satisfied in Hell -- not only for the torture, but how confined it is, how little they seem to be able to get their hands on that has true value.
