If she's "gone home" the way they'd euphemized in their previous setting, then she was able to be pulled back into her world before being shot back here. [By now, she should know better than to expect he wouldn't take her literally. This isn't new, Jessica. He was just as literal when he had her strapped to a lab table. And so it isn't long before he's inviting himself into her space, careful and very obviously expecting to find something violent.

[ Old Jessica would probably have been far more dramatic at the over-the-top madness that comes through her door. She'd probably yell about the gun, flail around and cause a scene. But after some of the shit she'd had to experience during her year back in Bon Temps...all she does is hold her forehead and sigh.
After a roll of her eyes, her head thumps back into her pillows so she can stare up at the ceiling and wonder what she'd done to deserve this. ]
